Cellar Upstairs Bar & Restaurant at the San Sebastian Winery

A great spot for adult beverages, dining, and dancing is the Cellar Upstairs Bar and Restaurant at the San Sebastian Winery. You can enjoy live music from an eclectic mix of musicians while enjoying the great views from the open-air deck.

Light appetizers are available along with a great selection of their wonderful wines as well as imported and domestic beers. There is even a mock sangria which is delicious for those who do not drink alcoholic beverages. There is never a cover charge. The Cellar Upstairs is open Thursday (11:30 AM – 6:00 PM), Friday and Saturday (11:30 AM – 9:00 PM), and Sunday (11:30 AM – 6:00 PM).

Stroll down Historic St. George Street

A romantic stroll hand in hand down St. George St. is always fun. There are so many unique and quaint shops and dining experiences in the heart of historic downtown. A few favorite restaurants there are the Columbia, Catch 27, Collage, and Pizzalley’s. You can’t leave St. George St. without delicious fudge or a caramel apple from Kilwin’s Chocolates!

St Augustine Beaches 

A walk along our beautiful beaches is a must while visiting St. Augustine, or just spend the day relaxing and spending time together enjoying the view and ocean sounds along with the cool ocean breeze. Enjoy a beautiful sunrise together either on the beach or from your beautiful oceanfront balcony and then go for pastries and coffee, or a full, hearty breakfast!

Some favorite breakfast places on the beach are The Kookaburra (great coffee and Aussie pies!), The Oasis, Sea Oats Café, Les Petit Pleasures, and Café 11.

Visit Anastasia State Park

Anastasia State Park offers the opportunity to go kayaking or paddle boarding in Salt Run. You can bring your own or rent equipment. Biking, hiking, birding and wildlife viewing, boating, fishing, geo-seeking, picnicking, shelling, surfing, swimming, and enjoying the beach are all activities you can enjoy there. There is an $8.00 charge per car admission fee.

Climb the St. Augustine Lighthouse 

The view from the St. Augustine Lighthouse is spectacular! Just be prepared to walk up and down 229 steps. Also included with your admission are exhibits, wooden boatbuilding in progress, hands-on activities, daily demos, shipwreck artifacts being conserved in the lab, and hiking on the nature trails.

Evening and nighttime programs are available beyond the regular admission and if you want your partner to hold you extra tightly, there is even a Dark of the Moon Ghost Tour! Daytime programs allow one-on-one time with the lighthouse keeper and you can even create your own experience.
